Side Swept Curls feat. Pantene Pro-V

Style Tutorial and Product Review

In this tutorial, I show you how to do a side swept, curly pin-up, perfect for prom, weddings, or other special occasions on my baby sister, and review some of the Pantene Pro-V products from April’s curlBOX.

Featured products:

Pantene Pro-V 2-Minute Moisture Masque is designed to penetrate the hair shaft so the hair is moisturized and it helps protected against styling and heat damage by mimicking hair’s natural lipid layer. This masque contains behentrimonium methosulfate, which is a high quality, extremely mild detangling agent, and Panthenol, commonly referred to as vitamin B5 or “provitamin”, for moisture, which is found in many Pantene products.

After just two minutes with this masque, my sister’s hair was incredibly hydrated and detangling was a breeze, not to mention the smell of this masque is amazingly fresh and sweet. This one is a steal at just around $6 for 10 ounces at

Pantene Pro-V Heat Protection Spray contains micro-polymers that help shield hair from heat damage and enhance shine. It also contains the provitamin, B5 and, hydrogenated castor oil, a fatty acid humectant that contains hydrogen, meaning, it will help with hydration and not oxidize quickly from the hair. You can find this one for $6 or less for 8.5 ounces. (See more on heat protectants, including how they work.)

Pantene Pro-V Expert Collection Keragloss Oil Mist adds shine and protects with five, frizz-fighting, damage-repairing, moisture-boosting oils: argan, jojoba, safflower, olive and sesame. It also acts as a protectant against external elements such as humidity. And of course, it contains Panthenol for moisture. You can find this one for $15 or less for 3.4 ounces.
