Ouidad Review

Featuring Curl Last Flexible-Hold Hairspray

In this tutorial I am going to use and review the he new Ouidad Curl Last Flexible-Hold Hairspray and Ouidad’s Curl Recovery line of products to cleanse, condition and set my hair in a wash-n-go.

Featured Product:

Ouidad Curl Last Flexible-Hold Hairspray

Ouidad Curl Last Flexible-Hold Hairspray has a weightless hold that doesn’t dry stiff or sticky. It has hydrolyzed oat protein, which gives hair volume and reduces frizz, and sunflower seed oil, which contains linoleic acid, a fatty acid good for moisture. This spray also has several extracts that lock in moisture and protect curls making this spray perfect for all day humidity-blocking hold. It’s paraben and sulfate free, and safe for all hair types, even color-treated hair.

I am very aware of smells in my hair because it pretty much surrounds my face all day, and what I like about this spray is that it doesn’t have that strong alcohol smell most holding sprays have. It’s very light and blends nicely with Ouidad’s signature Curl Recovery fragrance for a sweet smelling finish.

This spray definitely did its job in holding my curls without making them crunchy or sticky. I couldn’t even feel the spray on my hair when touching it throughout the day and the next, and I noticed it kept my hair from frizzing after getting caught in some rain. For me, this hairspray is a win, especially with hot, humid summer days on the way.

Other products:

All products in the Ouidad Curl Recovery line feature their proprietary CR-4 Repair Complex™, which includes nutrient-rich Mafura Butter and Kalahari Melon Seed Oil designed to surround the hair shaft with a cushion-like coating of concentrated fatty acids that are vital to rebuilding, nourishing and protecting hair in need of repair.

Total Time:

Total time for this style was an hour and forty-five minutes.

Keep and Care:

I will sleep in a pineapple and fluff in the morning to maintain this style.

  1. Your hair looks great! I’d love to try these products but they are out of my price range. 🙁

  2. What kind of diffuser is that? I’ve never used one and see that there are SOO many options.
