ABOUT THE PRODUCT:

From ApHogee, “It has been proven that superior results require healthy hair with structural integrity and a proper balance of strength, elasticity, and smoothness. This is why ApHogee products include our exclusive PropHytamine Complex which utilizes precise levels of proteins, emollients, and humectants to achieve and maintain healthy hair.”

ApHogee’s restructuring spray is a leave-in treatment that combines the strengthening properties of keratin protein with the antioxidant benefits of green tea. Its active ingredients bond to the hair shaft with natural body heat or heat from styling tools.

PRODUCT ATTRIBUTES:

  • Reduces breakage and split ends
  • Adds body and shine
  • Protects hair color/dye
  • Helps with detangling
  • Alcohol-free
  • Non-sticky
  • Lightweight

NOURISHING INGREDIENTS:

  • Hydrolyzed Keratin (restructures and strengthens the hair with protein molecules small enough to penetrate the hair shaft)
  • Hydrolyzed Silk (strong, man-made fiber that softens and penetrates the hair shaft making hair more “durable”)
  • Green Tea Extract (antioxidant that helps retain length and reduce scalp irritation)
  • Glycine Alanine (an organic compound and amino acid combined to stimulate growth and repair)
  • Cocamidopropyl Hydroxysultaine (acts as an anti-static agent)
  • Cetrimonium Chloride (conditioning agent to smooth the hair’s cuticle)
  • Citric Acid (helps flatten the hair cuticle making it look shinier and more lively in color)

BEST USES:

I use this product after deep conditioning my hair. Because I usually wash-n-go my hair, I like to use this as a protecting treatment to shield my hair from the elements and excessive touching (of my hands and sometimes random strangers). This is a good strengthening treatment whether you plan to air or heat-dry your hair. I especially like how it seems to add a bit of elasticity to my edges and ends to prevent breakage and dryness.

  1. Lol at your comment about random strangers touching your hair, lol
    Nice that you let them.
I actually purchased this product because of your tips but because I’m also a product junkie it’s hard to know if it worked or if it works on my hair.
